About Vidya
I’m Vidya, a London-based global professional wine expert with a deep love for sharing wine in ways that feel inclusive and approachable. I hold the WSET Diploma (DipWSET), along with several wine scholar certifications in French, Italian, and Spanish wines, but what matters most to me is how wine brings people together.
My passion sits at the intersection of food, wine, hospitality, travel, science, sustainability, good health, mindful drinking, and care for the environment and the vineyards that make wine possible. Given this passion, I am an Advisory Board Member for Be Inclusive Hospitality , a non-profit organisation focused on promoting racial equity in the hospitality industry. This work matters to me because I believe wine and dining should be welcoming spaces for everyone.
My work focuses on corporate events and also includes wine judging, writing, presentations, restaurant consulting, cellar management, as well as private events. Across everything I do, my focus remains the same: creating thoughtful, personalised experiences that feel meaningful, engaging, and accessible.
Corporate Events
I create thoughtfully curated corporate wine experiences for small groups, usually 20 people or fewer, where the atmosphere feels upscale yet intimate, relaxed yet professional. My aim is to balance learning with enjoyment so that your team leaves not just entertained, but genuinely enriched.
These sessions are ideal if you are celebrating a strong year, bringing people together, or looking for a meaningful shared experience beyond the usual corporate event. I design each tasting around your group, your context, and your objectives, so it feels personal rather than formulaic.
In my sessions, people feel comfortable asking questions. The focus is not on drinking more, but on understanding more. Making better wine decisions, discovering new styles, and connecting with one another in a fun, interactive, and refined way.
Having spent two decades working globally in consulting and banking, I understand corporate cultures, expectations, and standards at the highest level. This means I can tailor the experience to fit seamlessly into your organisation while still creating something memorable, engaging, and distinctive.
